The AmeriCare franchise provides non-medical home care services. These services may include companionship, transportation, meal preparation, light house keeping, bathing and grooming. Franchise Offer The franchise offered is for a single AmeriCare franchise business. The franchisor is also offering opportunities for AmeriCare Area Developers who will have a large territory in which they will sell AmeriCare individual franchises. The Area Developers will then have responsibility for training, monitoring and assisting the individual franchisees within their territory. Financial Assistance The franchisor does not offer any financing arrangement for franchisees Training and Support The franchisee and operator must attend an initial three-day training program before the opening of the franchise. There is no extra charge for the training program for up to two people, and a charge of $500 per person for each additional person trained. Training takes place in Atlanta and includes 20-30 hours of on the Job Training. Territory The franchisor does not typically grant exclusive territories, however, in major metropolitan statistical areas, franchisees will receive an exclusive territory with a population of 200,000 people
